Online PDF editing tool

What can this free online PDF editor do?

This browser-based PDF editor is designed for quick changes to existing PDF files. It can detect editable text objects, let you update their appearance, move page objects and export the edited document without sending the PDF to an application server.

Edit existing PDF text

Select detected text blocks, update their wording, choose a compatible font, change text size, color, alignment, rotation or character spacing, and keep the result inside the PDF.

Move and reorder page objects

Move detected objects, delete them, place them in front of or behind other content, add new text and export the finished document as PDF or image.

Private browser workflow

The editing engine runs in your browser with WebAssembly. The tool does not require a business backend to process your PDF, and local recovery can restore your current editing session after an accidental refresh.

How to edit a PDF online

  1. Choose a PDF file from your device.
  2. Select a text block or page object and adjust it with the editor.
  3. Use Properties for fonts, size, color, rotation and object order.
  4. Export the edited PDF or create JPG images of its pages.

PDF editor FAQ

Does this PDF editor upload my document to a server?

The editor is designed to process the PDF in the browser with PDFium WebAssembly. The editing workflow itself does not require uploading the document to an application server.

Can I edit every PDF?

Not always. Some PDFs contain scanned pages, outlined text, unusual embedded fonts or complex form objects. Editable PDF text objects work best, while scans may require OCR in a different workflow.

Can I change a difficult embedded PDF font?

Yes, when the original embedded font is limited, the editor warns you and offers compatible standard fonts that are safer for new characters.

Will my work survive an accidental refresh?

The editor uses browser storage for local recovery. When supported by the browser, the current PDF session can be restored after a refresh.
